Baron Blon (ブロン男爵, Buron-danshaku) is a laynoble and the giebe of the province of Blon in Ehrenfest.
Story
On the day of Tuuli's baptism, Myne is working at the city gate, when a letter of introduction arrives from Baron Blon, directing a merchant visitor to Baron Glaz.[1] Because it needs the commander's seal, and he is currently in a meeting with an archnoble, she advises that the visitor be referred to a waiting room.
The giebes of Blon and the neighboring province of Glaz appear to be on good terms: Baron Blon's daughter Lagrete marries Bernadet, the son of Baron Glaz[2] during Rozemyne's first noble Starbind Ceremony as High Bishop.
Baron Blon's daughter also ordered her wedding dress from Gilberta Company.[3] It is unsure whether this is Lagrete or another daughter, since this happened one-and-a-half years before Lagrete and Bernadet's Starbind Ceremony.
Baron Blon, despite being a laynoble, has never sought the assistance of the Gilberta Company to facilitate an introduction to Rozemyne. In the complex dynamics of nobility and commoner interactions, commoner merchants avoid becoming intermediaries between nobles, as it poses potential risks to their safety, particularly if the noble relationship were to turn unfavorable. Merchants, aiming for long and prosperous lives, tend to limit their involvement with noble society to minimize potential complications.[4]
