Blasius was an archnoble son of Gieselfried and his late second wife. He is married to Alstede, whom they have a daughter, Benedikta.
History
Blasius' mother was the little sister of the at the time Aub Werkestock. At the conclusion of the civil war, she was executed due to this family connection to a traitor, despite being innocent of any crimes against the kingdom. Thanks to siding with the winning faction, his father was able to negotiate for Blasius and his brother's lives, albeit at the cost of having to demote them to archnobles.[1]
Later he married his half-sister from another mother, Alstede and the two had at least one child, a pre-baptized girl named Benedikta.[2]
Story
Part 5 Volume 10
When Georgine, his wife's mother, launches her insurrection together with Lanzenave, Blasius goes with his wife to the Adalgisa Villa on the grounds of the Royal Academy and gets stuck there, when Lady Rozemyne steals Ahrensbach's Foundation and disables the teleporter between the Lanzenave Estate and the Adalgisa Villa.[3]
A few days later, the villa is attacked by a combined force of knights from Dunkelfelger, Ehrenfest and Ahrensbach knights, loyal to the new Aub. Since the occupants of the Adalgisa villa were certain of being hidden by Verbergen's Concealment, they have no guards stationed around the place. When the attack comes in the middle of the night, the occupants are caught completely by surprise and quickly overwhelmed. Blasius is captured alongside his wife and sister-in-law.[4]
