Story

At the Royal Academy, Roderick is very frustrated at being distanced from all other students by circumstances. In a moment of contemplation, he asks Kashmir how one can get closer to people of another faction. While Kashmir does not know the name or the details of the technique in question, he tells his master that Lady Veronica employed some kind of ritual to this effect.
