Lestilaut is an archduke candidate from Dunkelfelger and is the older brother of Hannelore. After graduating from the Royal Academy, he is the successor to be the next Aub Dunkelfelger. He is engaged to Eineliebe[1], who will become his future second wife.
Appearance
Lestilaut is a tall and athletic boy. Rozemyne thinks he looks more like an apprentice knight than an archduke candidate.[5]
Personality
He appears to be rather arrogant and looks down upon duchies of lesser rank. Rozemyne considers him to be a "musclehead."
He demonstrated a tendency to act without thinking things through, when escalating a dispute over the mastership of Schwartz and Weiss into full-on combat within the halls of the Royal Academy.[5]
As relatives of Trauerqual's third wife Magdalena, Lestilaut and Hannelore occasionally visited her and her son Prince Hildebrand at their royal villa in the Sovereignty, but didn't form a particularly close relationship with the prince.[6]
Lestilaut cares deeply for his little sister. When he heard Hannelore wish to be Schwartz and Weiss's master, he immediately went into action to launch a misguided attempt to obtain what she desired. In true Dunkelfelger fashion, he tried just charging straight in, without even appearing to consider that he was rushing head-long into a major diplomatic incident with the duchy of Ehrenfest.[7]
While most of his interest seem to revolve around martial activities, Lestilaut also has a keen interest in the history of his home duchy and is very well versed in it.[8]
