The previous Aub Klassenberg (アウブ　クラッセンブルク, Aubu Kurassenburuku) is the former archduke of Klassenberg and Eglantine's grandfather.

History

When during the civil war the third prince along with all his adult relatives were poisoned and died, Aub Klassenberg immediately brought his granddaughter Eglantine, who was the third prince's unbaptized daughter, back to Klassenberg and adopted her as his own daughter to keep her safe.

He later came to regret his decision, believing he stole Eglantine's royal status away from her. He has since made efforts to arrange a marriage between her and one of the current princes to return her to the status he believes to be rightfully hers.
