Rosina (ロジーナ Rojiina) is a former attendant of Christine when she was a blue apprentice priestess in the church. After Christine left, Rosina becomes Myne's attendant by Ferdinand's forceful recommendation, to teach her music and how to act like a proper lady.
Appearance
Before her coming of age ceremony she wore her wavy hair in a half-up style. Due to her previous education she conducts herself in an elegant manner, making her look like a dignified young lady from a wealthy family. She looks mature and has a beautiful face.
Personaliy
History
Rosina was picked as an attendant to Sister Christine at a young age. Due to her talent for music she enjoyed unusually many privileges. All the work was done by the grey priests, while the grey priestesses were told to concentrate solely on the arts. Any activity that might damage their fingers and thus negatively impact their ability to draw or play music was strictly off limits to the girls.
Never having known any different lifestyle, Rosina believed that this arrangement was normal among the retainers of female nobles.
Story
When Rosina is asked to teach Myne to play the harspiel, she was overjoyed and immediately gives consent to becoming Myne's teacher. Due to her previous time spent as Christine's retainer, Rosina's expectations and ideas of her duties as Myne's retainers differ from what is expected of her, even going so far as to try to give orders to Myne's head attendant Fran. That led to disputes among her attendants which is followed by a meeting. It turns out that Rosina thought of herself as more special than the other grey robed priests and shrine maidens because of her talents for the arts.
When Myne tells her that she has to do chores in addition to teaching her music and listen to Fran, she can't understant why any blue shrine maiden could ever make such outlandish demands. Myne gives her one day to decide whether she will comply or retire from her service and move back to the orphanage.
At first Rosina is devestated of the "strange" demands that Myne makes of her, but after a talk with Wilma she realizes that it was actually Christine who was the odd one and that Myne's treatment of her retainers is actually closer to normal in noble society. Albeit initially still reluctant she decides to stay Myne's attendant and promises to do her chores.
Myne assigns Rosina to help Fran with doing paperwork besides her duties as Myne's teacher. Myne respects Rosina's attitude towards music and her desire to keep her hands as unscathed from physical work as possible. She is also forbidden from playing her instrument too late into the night, so that the other attendants can get sufficient sleep. While teaching Myne the Harspiel they begin to transcribe songs Myne remembered from her Urano days. Rosina enjoys every new song she can grasp.
