Sergius (ゼルギウス, Zerugiusu) was an Ahrensbach archattendant who was assigned to be Lord Ferdinand's attendant.

After the Lanzenave invasion was defeated, he will continue to serve Lord Ferdinand as an Alexandrian archattendant.

History

Originally born in Drewanchel, Sergius moved to Ahrensbach when Lady Letizia was adopted by her grandfather Aub Ahrensbach and moved to his duchy. Since Sergius is the son of Letizia's head attendant, he moved with his parents and thus became a citizen of Ahrensbach. However, he still maintains contact with some people in his old home, including Letizia's parents.

Sergius' time at the Royal Academy overlapped with that of Ferdinand. During those times, he witnessed his academic excellence and skill with the harspiel. This instilled a great respect and admiration for Ferdinand in him, and when it was announced that Ferdinand would soon come to Ahrensbach, Sergius asked to be assigned to him.

Story

Part 4 Volume 9

Sergius appears sincere in his desire to serve his new master, but it is also clear that he has received instructions from someone to keep a close eye on Justus.

Part 5 Volume 3

Sergius accompanies Ferdinand to the Interduchy Tournament in Rozemyne's third Royal Academy year. Despite his exemplary service, Ferdinand is not yet able to fully trust him as can be seen by him cutting Rozemyne off and warning her against discussing intelligence with him while Sergius is within earshot.

Thanks to being born and raised in Drewanchel, he still retains some contacts in his former duchy. When Ferdinand and Rozemyne make a sound-recording magic tool for Letizia and intend to have it filled with praise from her parents, these contacts allow Sergius to make arrangement to have this happen.
