Suzuka (鈴華) is the talented mangaka responsible for the manga adaptation of Part 1 and 2 of Ascendance of a Bookworm. Expressing gratitude to readers in the first volume, Suzuka shares the initial attraction to Bookworm after learning about its upcoming adaptation, leading to a strong desire to be the manga artist for the series. Despite encountering a rare fever while organizing the plot for Volume One, Suzuka's determination prevailed, and she now finds genuine happiness in bringing the world of Bookworm to life through her illustrations. In contrast to the protagonist Myne, Suzuka notes her own good health but humorously recalls a bout of bedrest during the plot organization phase, where she dreamt of making books, possibly influenced by Myne's resolute pursuit.[1]
