Trudeliede (トルデリーデ, Toruderiide) is an archnoble of Ehrenfest and Karstedt's second wife. They have a son named Nikolaus.
History
Prior to her wedding, Trudeliede served Lady Veronica as an attendant[3].
Her marriage to Karstedt only happened at the insistence of Veronica, making Elvira later remark that the marriage was practically forced on Karstedt[4].
Trudeliede's and Rozemary's families had a feud that caused significant strife in Karstedt's family. The stress caused by the constant fighting and bullying was likely a big contributing factor to Rozemary's poor health which eventually led to her demise[5].
As Veronica's former loyal retainer and name-sworn she shares much of her lady's likes and dislikes, including a thorough disdain for Ferdinand, considerable antipathy toward Rozemyne on account of believing that she is a commoner and her involvement in Veronica's fall, and naturally also hostility toward Sylvester for imprisoning Veronica[6].
Story
Part 4 Volume 9
Ever since Rozemyne has been baptized as Karstedt's and Elvira's daughter and subsequently adopted by Aub Ehrenfest, Trudeliede used her position within the family to glean information and pass it on to fellow members of the former Veronica faction. Due to this, she is one of the nobles that are going to be eliminated in the upcoming purge within Ehrenfest[6].
Part 5 Volume 4
At some non-specified point in time between his baptism and ninth year of life, Nikolaus voices his wish to become his half-sister Rozemyne's guard knight, but Trudeliede forbids it on the grounds that she will not have her son serve someone who grew up in the Temple.
In her son's ninth winter, Ehrenfest enacts a purge of the former Veronica faction and anyone associated with Georgine. Since Trudeliede kept working for Veronica in the shadows even after officially leaving her employ, she is found guilty of crimes against the duchy. While she escapes the fate of being executed alongside those found guilty of treason or name-sworn to Goergine, her crimes are still severe enough to earn her a prison sentence and thus she is currently locked away in the castle, with her side-building of the Karstedt estate closed down and her son forced to live in the castle for the time being[2].
