We have a new template for dealing with spoiler content with the intention of replacing huge blocks of spoilerblur (not all spoilerblur). The goal is reduce wall of blurred text and have a more controllable spoiler reveal (click to toggle rather the auto reveal by hovering).
The template is called Spoilerblock and here's how it works:

Results:
Spoiler from Part 4 Volume 8 |
---|
Insert Spoiler text here.
P4V8 Spoilers |
- "|source=" Requires values such as "P4V8", "P4V9", "P5V1", "RAS1", etc... It will then output the source of the spoiler and include the equivalent 'spoiler category' (e.g. "P4V8" will include Category:P4V8_Spoiler-tags automaticly).
- If the value is "Spoiler" it will output no source link and the outputted category will be Category:Spoiler-tags.
- If the value is invalid or empty, there will be no source link nor category.
- "|NoCategory=true" Allows prevention of the automatic spoiler category.
Type of Valid Source Values:
Type | Value | Output |
---|---|---|
LN Volume | PXVY | Part X Volume X P4V8 = Part 4 Volume 8 P5V7 = Part 5 Volume 7 |
Fanbook | FBX | Fanbook X FB1 = Fanbook FB3 = Fanbook 3 |
Short Story Collection | SSCX | Short Story Collection X SSC1 = Short Story Collection 1 |
Royal Academy Stories | RAS1 | RAS1 = Royal Academy Stories - First Year |
Non-sourced Spoiler | Spoiler | Spoiler = Spoiler + Category:Spoiler-tags |
Spoilerblock is intended to be used on paragraphs of text that needs to spoiler-tagged. Spoilerblur in the other hand will be used for spoiler-tagging inline elements or spoiler-tagging data on an infobox instead.
